A 31-year-old driver in Chengdu, China, died on Monday (Oct 13) after his Xiaomi electric car caught fire and its doors failed to open. Passersby were seen trying to open the car’s doors but were unable to do so.
According to a police statement by the Chengdu Public Security Bureau circulating online, the electric vehicle had collided with another car, and the Xiaomi driver was suspected to have been intoxicated. #china #chinanews #xiaomi
